Ok, I basically figured out my last problem, so I deleted the thread. Now the problem I'm having is with my network... For some reason, kboot will recognize it and show my ip and all that stuff as it's loading up, but when I load the gentoo livecd it can't seem to bring it up. I've tried doing net-setup, and it still won't come up. Is there something I'm doing wrong here, or some way to get around it? |

Encountered this issue as well. As an workaround I killed the dhcpd process. And restarted it from the cli. Then things came back alive for me. I had this issue since the first ps3-install-cd so contacted the maintainer, rangerb, about this and he made a new image where dhcpd is started with /sbin/dhcpd -h livecd eth0. And that worked ok. This ps3-install-cd with this modifcation can be downloaded here ********************* Hopefully this change make it to newer releases. )

I cannot have people downloading isos from my dev account. I'm removing the iso referenced in the previous post. Drikus I believe I asked you to not share that URL.
I will add this fix into the upcoming releases. _________________ -->
