Hello Folks,

Has anyone here tried or know if it is possible to compile Gentoo with PGI's compiler suite? If it is, what would be the performance difference between PGI & GNU? I know that PGI has some autoparallelization & autovectorization built in so I am thinking that I should get better performance on dual-processor machine but is it really the case in real-world usage - and is it worth the effort?
