Hi!

I just upgraded my kernel and the resolution during boot is really bad.
Didn't it use to be an option in the kernel called vesafb-tng where one could specify the resolution during boot?
How do I adjust that from now on?

Regards Johan

Since kernel 2.6.23 there is a new driver in the gentoo kernel replacing the old vesafb-tng. Check out this page for some documentation: http://dev.gentoo.org/~spock/projects/uvesafb/
