As far as I know I have scsci generic, scsci disk and scsi cdrom support compiled in.

You need to compile the BusLogic SCSI driver into the kernel. Not as module!
Everthing will work fine!!!

this alrady works (tip from anoher user)
but if you look a the posts before yours, you will see that I now have an other problem. after adding swapspace or so it remounts the root xfs partition read-only and after that it doesn't succed in remountin it rw.
if I login at the maintenance prompt and do the remounting by hand, I can boot up. (init 5)
