I just downloaded and installed the Urban Terror 4.0, but when I try to play, I get the "Default.cfg" error. The old way to fix this was to copy over one's pak0.pk3 file from the quake3 CD, but I don't have quake3, and UT 4.0 isn't supposed to need it. There was something mentioned about ioUrbanTerror, but when I checked the bugzilla on UrbanTerror, it seemed like everything was merged into one package. Am I incorrect about this and need to install ioUrbanTerror, or am I doing something else wrong?

I had the same problem. I solved by doing this:
| Code: | | ln -s /usr/share/games/quake3/q3ut4/ demota |
But now I have this problem:
| Code: | | Sys_Error: Corrupted pak0.pk3: 453668668 |
I'll keep trying links...the game is installed anyway

well, it's all solved (with sound included).
Solution:
| Code: | | emerge -C quake3-urbanterror |
then, I download the free version from www.urbanterror.net using ioUrbanTerror (free).
