Hy, I've emerged the 8.42.3 ati drivers, but when I run the amdcccle I recive this errors:

You need to compile libX11 with -xcb. If you were trying to use Compiz, use -xcb for it as well.
(XCB also breaks Java, but there is a known workaround for that.) |

Sorry, by -xcb I meant USE flags

echo 'x11-libs/libX11 -xcb' >> /etc/portage/package.use
echo 'x11-wm/compiz -xcb' >> /etc/portage/package.use
emerge -Nav libX11 compiz
|
(Of course, remove the compiz part if you aren't using it, but usually the xcb flag comes from compiz wanting it in the past) |
