Good day all,
I'm trying to get samba installed, but the ebuild keeps failing when trying to emerge poppler.
Anyone as an idea?

I also have te same problem. Same error when compiling Poppler.
I don't know how to solve this.
Greeting Elmar
Edit: compiling this helped:

Did it help or fix it?
I'd rather not have to install gtk, as this will be a no gui server install and I want to keep it as uncluttered as possible
Edit: I'm also wondering why in heaven's name Samba requires access to a pdf library. _________________ Someone asked me once if I suffered from mental illness. I told him I enjoyed every second of it.

Figured out why the dependency. It's cups that needs it. This machine won't be used to print, so added -cups in use flags and it doesn't pull all the graphic dependencies anymore.
So fixed for me. _________________ Someone asked me once if I suffered from mental illness. I told him I enjoyed every second of it.
