|
|
MPlayers image quality becomes really worse when I scale it down (resize the window or switch to fullscreen if video size is bigger than my screen size).
The thing is, edges become very rough and not smooth. Maybe, it's hard to see it on static images, but really attracts attention when moving. I've been using mplaer in the past and I don't think I had something like that.
So, how should I fix the image?
These are a couple of snapshots:

Don't worry the right side is a bit messy - I probably should have Option "TexturedOverlay" turned "off" before running KSnapshot.
-vo is set to xv.
UPD: I tried zooming in, and it has the same effect.
Maybe it's ati-drivers 8.42.3 fault, I'll try downgrading.

| Well, I was right. I think I'll buy an NVidia card because ATi driver is awful in many ways and make AMD developers regret it forever. |

| Sorry, actually the "TexturedVideo" option was the real culprit, not fglrx version. |
