I'm trying to build a live cd. All goes reasonably well right up to the starting the system up with my new live cd. As soon as I try to execute for example:

ls -l

The system generates the message

Anyone got any ideas what I'm doing wrong?

takeout "acl" from livecd/unmerge:
you may also want libtool left out from there as sshd will not work without it.

comment out livecd/unmerge & livecd/remove until you know what needs to be unmerge and or removed.

That did the trick. I now have a bootable CD :D

All I need to do is figure out which of the huge pile of stuff I don't need.
