|
|
I have gotten the gecko stuff to work in wine, but I had to rename my .wine directory to do it. now if I try to use my original .wine directory with all of the Steam applications installed, it still just tells me that HTML Rendering has been disabled.
how do I get it to prompt me to install again?
I really don't want to have to re-install all of my Steam games again just because wine doesn't want to let me install gecko.
Thanks |

Many ways, two of them are:
1. Use winetricks to install it:
http://www.kegel.com/wine/winetricks
Then run:
winetricks gecko
OR
2. Copy your Steam folder out of .wine, make a new one, then copy Steam back in. This works fine with Steam. |
