Hello, newbie here.

When installing pureftp mysql user manager with the /ftp/install.php. That program tells me the following:

Checking if config.php exists OK!
Checking if config.php is writable OK!
Checking if PHP Extension MYSQL is enabled OK!
Checking if PHP Extension PCRE is enabled OK!
Checking if PHP Extension POSIX is enabled Failed!
Checking if PHP Extension SESSION is enabled OK!

I do a whereis php.ini and I receive: "php: /usr/bin/php /etc/php"

I go to /etc/php and see two directories: apache2-php5 and cli-php5.
In apache2-php5 dir there is a blank php.ini file.

I bet this is too simple, but, can someone tell me how to enable the Posix PHP extension in gentoo?

Thanks, Bruce

Moved from Installing Gentoo to Networking & Security.
Not about getting gentoo installed, so moved here.
