I've been running w/wireless networking for some time with little/no issue. That changed after an emerge world last evening. glibc-2.6 was pulled in (I did perform a toolchain rebuild). Now wpa_supplicant appears to connect, but dhcpcd doesn't seem to launch, thus blocking all net dependent services (including dnsmasq which I use for DNS).
Running dhcpcd manually does get an IP address (instantly), so it something between the connection in wpa_supplicant and the net scripts launching dhcpcd. Anyone running into this?
Laptop is an IBM Thinkpad T42 (w/ built-in Intel 2200BG)
Kernel 2.6.22 (gentoo-sources), and running baselayout-2 |

| same here. I'm using dhclient though- and never had the setup running before, but my girlfriend did and I copied her config. |
