what should i do to make ekiga find my webcam....it's a gspcav1 v4l webcam?
i've installed ekiga but i suspect that i need other packages....

did you install media-video/gspcav1?

my webcam works fine in kopete so i think that i've v4l and i'm shure that i've gspcav1 |

I just had the same problem...I fixed it by reemerging dev-libs/pwlib with the v4l and v4l2 use flags.
I would check if those use flags are enabled. If not, that is probably the problem. |
