I am having an issue with installation using this so called raid controller. I realize that it implements a type of software assisted raid which I should probably just use software raid and be done with it however I would like to be able to use the hardware as it was designed.
I see linux modules for some flavors but not gentoo. I found sources however they dont appear to build the raid module just the module for the controller card. Any help is greatly appreciated.

| If your card is one that Adaptec calls "Host RAID", then it is 100% software. |
