ebuild and patch links return 404..and custom-kernel overlay seems to be down
well, let's rename the old ebuild & test :D

EDIT: ok now the links work, but the overlay is still down

ok, booted. it works fine :D
I noticed that /proc/sys/kernel/sched_granularity_ns doesnt exist anymore, there are some sched_* entries instead. do you know which one to modify for the new best settings for a desktop system?

Same .config as -kamikaze7
Code:

  CHK     include/linux/version.h
  CHK     include/linux/utsrelease.h
  CALL    scripts/checksyscalls.sh
  CHK     include/linux/compile.h
  CC [M]  sound/pci/ens1371.o
In file included from sound/pci/ens1371.c:2:
sound/pci/ens1370.c: In function 'snd_ensoniq_create':
sound/pci/ens1370.c:2121: error: 'struct pci_dev' has no member named 'revision'
make[2]: *** [sound/pci/ens1371.o] Error 1
make[1]: *** [sound/pci] Error 2
make: *** [sound] Error 2

thanks :)

works well here,

cfs - however - still gives hick-ups of streaming-audio during launch of some bigger apps & especially move of windows and opening of menu entries

the improvement compared to earlier versions: it only happens for a very short time (1/2 a second )

i get the same error as _sys/sid, i think:

Code:

  LD      sound/pci/echoaudio/built-in.o
  CC      sound/pci/emu10k1/emu10k1_synth.o
  CC      sound/pci/emu10k1/emu10k1_callback.o
  CC      sound/pci/emu10k1/emu10k1_patch.o
  CC      sound/pci/emu10k1/emu10k1.o
  CC      sound/pci/emu10k1/emu10k1_main.o
sound/pci/emu10k1/emu10k1_main.c: In function 'snd_emu10k1_create':
sound/pci/emu10k1/emu10k1_main.c:1668: error: 'struct pci_dev' has no member named 'revision'
make[3]: *** [sound/pci/emu10k1/emu10k1_main.o] Error 1
make[2]: *** [sound/pci/emu10k1] Error 2
make[1]: *** [sound/pci] Error 2
make: *** [sound] Error 2

same .config as -kamikaze7 used, as well.
