I notice in the Gentoo Ebuild HOWTO it mentions that lintool is broken.

The only problem I found, and corrected, was the date bug when it checks headers.

Can anyone point out any other problems with it?

I know it says to use repoman instead, but I'm not an official Gentoo developer so it won't work for me when I need to check individual ebuilds.
