Problems after upgrading splashutils to 1.5 [BUG 189301]

Hi!

After upgrading to splashutils 1.5 the first splash is fine but the second, where the "progress bar" is "running", the top and bottom graphic line of the "progress bar box" disappears!

Also noticed, now, that F2 stopped working!

Is this a bug? What's wrong?
