you should be fine if on a firewall. I can only see rsync not working for you and if that occurs just open port 873. |

I thought so; now my question is how would I be able to see what my i.p. address is in Knoppix so I can set my firewall accordingly.
I think I got my address with ifconfig 192.168.0.147, my problem now is I can't access my smoothwall to open the port. In the browser it says an error occurred:
An error occurred while loading https://192.168.0.147:441/:
Could not connect to host 192.168.0.147 (port 441).
If anyone knows how to fix this it will be greatly appreciated, Thank You! |

dunno as i have never needed to use shortwall firewal, i have custom iptables rule sets. maybe you should stop the shortwall firewall temporaly and then flush all your iptables rules. |
