|
|
Hi,
My problem is that I can not see jpg image files. I have install the xv and the gThumb but I can not view the jpg files.
I have emerge the two package with the jpg flags (/etc/portage/package.use)
Code: |
media-gfx/xv -jpeg -png -tiff -jpg
media-gfx/gthumb -debug -exif -gphoto2 -jpeg -tiff
|
I have also set the jpeg flag in my /etc/make.conf file
USE="-xprint -dmx -bdf -jpeg -png -tiff -binfilter -branding -debug \
-eds -firefox -gstreamer -java -kde -ldap -mono -odk -seamonkey -sound \
-webdav -bcp -bjam -doc -icu -pyste -threads -threadsonly -cjk -gnutls \
-krb4 -nas -silc -spell -tcl -tk -nocupsdetection -servicetools \
gtk gnome X dvd hal avahi alsa cdr xorg truetype type1 dbus cups pam \
ncurses readline nls perl mp600"
I have emerge -e world ; nothing!!!
any ideas
thanks
when your setting use flags anything with the - in front of it will be told not to compile with that option
so take the - away from he jpg one and it should then make it compile it all with the jpg use flag |

wow It work ....
Thanks thanks thanks
I can not believe that it was so easy ....
and I wanted to know what was the different between the two flag options
I mean with the minus and with out...
I wanted to ask one more thing. This is a rule for both files
/etc/make.conf /etc/portage/package.use
Thanks again |
