emerge is failing when I do emerge xscreensaver. Below is the actual last bit of the make
output with the errors. If there is any other info I need to post please let me know.

emerge all packages related to gdk-pixbuf.
That should solve the problem. Good luck!

What's the easy way to find out which packages are linked to it? Pretend unmerging gdk-pixbuf and see what else gets slated for removal?
I appear to have nothing which requires it and I have exactly the same problem with xscreensaver. |

This will not help, emerge doesn't check dependencies when removing, but it sounds like a good feature,......
