When upgraden mozilla1.2.1-r5 to mozilla 1.3-r1 I've got this failure:

Is it a known problem? Any ideas how I can fix this? |

I just had the exact same problem! Reading another thread:
"In rereading your post Im thinking you have a flaky hard drive or cables. Hove you run a bad blocks check on your system? In my expercience 99% of the segfaults happen earlier in the emerge when it is actually compileing not when its just copying the bins to disk.."

Might try that out in a bit... good luck to you as well

| Hm, I checked for bad blocks before and I recompiled mozilla 3 times. I think it is not the reason of the segfault. |

I checked for bad block as well, came up with nothing...
I've also compiled mozilla 3 times, always stops at different files though...
Going to try again overnight, maybe I'll get lucky.

Don't know why, but it went through all the way this time. Writing this post from in Mozilla-1.3-r1 right now, working great. Hope you get yours to compile/install soon.
