When trying to build Paludis I get an error in the econf phase of the pcre++ package.

I've looked for it on the forums or bugzilla without luck. It seems like I'm having some trouble with autotools?

Thanks everybody!

You need automake-1.9. Anyway, pcre++ needs fixing, mainly my patches to make its build system sane need a bit of tweaking.

File a bug so I don't forget, please.

Done. Sorry for the little flood on the bug's summary... I might have attached it.
