Is there a way of adding the j2ee classes to my classpath using java-config? I tried java-config --list-available-packages and j2ee wasn't there
It seems a shame to have to manually add it to my classpath - especially when the tool has so neatly done everything else for me _________________ Old School is the way forward! |

java-config scans the /usr/share subdirectories for files named 'package.env', to add additional packages for use by the java-config command I have created 'stub' directories for additional libraries I want to make avaliable.
Within the stub directory, I create the file 'package.env' containing the class path of the libraries for that package. The file should contain the following:
| Code: |
DESCRIPTION="Package description"
CLASSPATH=/opt/build/classes:/opt/build/lib/mypkg.jar
|
the CLASSPATH line can contain as many different libraries as you want, it makes it really easy to switch around my classpaths depending on what I want to do. |
