submarine game?

I have googled around a little bit for my dad that really wants to find a good World War II type submarine / battle ship type game. I remember him having SeaWolf by IdSoftware and playing tha game for hours until he lost the disks.

Now I have found a few games by Matrix Games but only one problem, there are to distributers around where I live and I dont know if any of these games are any good. I have looked for rewiews and suggestions but unable to find any that help me out.

Seeing as it was fathers day the other day and we got him some things but it was more like a group thing from my family. I would like to get something that really is kickass for him.

So really, any recommendations? I was looking at this website but this is the only one that really grabbed my attention for these types of games ( http://www.subsim.com/index.php )

Also, I almost forgot to add is that he runs a d0ze machine, so anything that will run on m$ will work just fine for him.

There is a game named "Silent Service" but I cannot comment on it, since I haven't palyed it myself.
