This is my situation:
XP and my gentoo are on (P)ATA device.
In Windoff XP Pro, I set my three SATA disks in "dynamic mode".
So I created two striped partitions.
How can I set my md0 & md1 devices on linux?
What need I to enable in my kernel configuration?

I try to create a md device in this way:
#sudo mdadm --create /dev/md0 --chunk=64 --level=0 --raid-devices=3 /dev/sda2 /dev/sdb2 /dev/sdc2
but..
#ntfsresize --info --force /dev/md0

Maybe you selected the wrong device? Or the whole disk instead of a

| To access the raid devices you created in windows you'll need to use dmraid instead of md raid to access your on-board pseudo raid controller. |

What happens if you do it the other way around ?
Create the array first using mdadm, then access the array and setup the NTFS stuff from Windows. |

problem solved!
The different blocksizes are due to the fact that mdadm uses 1 block to store its raid/device information on it.
I prevent mdadm from doing so if I use --build instead of --create when creating/building my array.
So I needed to backup all my files, zap my disks, re-create my stripes in windows and then use --build instead --create
