Sorry if this has been answered already but I don't even know how to begin searching for topics related to this.

I use mixed GTK and Qt apps. Now... I want to change the colours of Qt apps to at least resemble the GTK ones. I just hate that default grayness (Amarok, konversation...). Possibly without emerging whole of KDE.

You can use kcontrol, but that requires a very basic install of kde at least. You can also use qtconfig, which is shipped with qt.

If you want better integration between gtk and qt applications, install qtcurve and gtk-engines-qtcurve. The same engine is available for both gtk and qt. That way they'll look the same.

Almost awesome... once I figure out how to add my own colours :P kcontrol seems to mess with my opera. Other than that it's fine.

(basic KDE install comes with Amarok :P )

Thanks for the help.

Opera has several problems with qt color schemes, overall if you use dark color schemes like I do.
