Hello -
You'll want to use ndiswrapper. There's a good how-to >
http://gentoo-wiki.com/HARDWARE_Wireless _________________ Ps = (1.5 x 6 x .75) / {(4/3) (pi) [(31.039 x 10^15) (46.5 x 10^9)]^3}
Seems like a waste.. |

Any way you could download Knoppix? Because within Knoppix you should be able to set up your wireless and install Gentoo within the Knoppix terminal. |

DId you load your drivers like so:
Code: | ndiswrapper -i drivername.inf
ndiswrapper -l
ndiswrapper -m
modprobe ndiswrapper |
This https://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic-t-334793-highlight-wusb11.html thread will probably be more use to you. Although I'm not quite sure if the make version difference will matter. |

Maybe re-try it with -m argument because that's what's used to write the alias for wlan0.
Did
show that the driver & hardware was present? |
