Can anyone tell me whether my processor supports ACPI by reading these two output messages.
dmesg
Code: | ACPI Exception (processor_core-0783): AE_NOT_FOUND, Processor Device is not present [20070126]

I'm wondering whether I can safely disable ACPI processor & themal zone options inside the kernel because I want to make the first message disappear from my dmesg.
Thanks. |

Thank for the reply; I guess, I have to wait until they solve the bug. |

BTW, is it SAFE to turn off the processor & themal zone ACPI option at kernel config??? |
