|
|
Hi,
Okay so perhaps the topic is a poorly worded but here is where I stand - in a fit of stupidity I cleaned out my entire /usr/src/ folder without thinking about my current .config (I swear I had it backed up ) and it is now lost.
Not wanting to sit around and try to remember each and every option I require to get my laptop functioning under Linux, I have come here.
So to ask: is there a utility or method to build a new .config from the kernel I am currently booted into?
Somehow I doubt it, but last ditch effort.
Thanks.
