[solved] Deleted files!!!! --nvrmind-symlinks destroyed

I was just playing around with rsync on my home computers, and I accidentally deleted a whole bunch of my school papers (including a 10 page paper for nanotechnolgoy!)

and less importantly, about 10 gig of music..

rsync didn't really "delete" the files from the harddrive though... they jsut aren't there (too quick to delete, just the links gone?)

my schoolpapers were on the windows partition /mnt/windows/Documents and Settings/etc/etcblahblahblah

my music was on the reiserfs partition t hat holds gentoo

I don't care about the music, how do I get the school papers back!!!! HELP!

omg... *major sigh of relief*

Both were symlinks to other locations... onlythe symlinks were ruined, and all the documents are fine...

omg... I was about to cry lol....
Thanks to anyone who might have had some ideas.. heh...
