Whenever I move or resize a QT window (kmess, kyim, karchiver, etc..), X will freeze although I can still move the mouse pointer. Maximize, Minimize, and Shade are fine. Also, the problem does not occur when moving or resizing non-QT window, for example XMMS.
Before the problem arised, I just emerged kdebase 3.1.2 and used it for 1 day without any problem (not sure if I moved or resized any QT window in that one day period). Then, I emerged kdenetwork 3.1.2 and kmess 1.2.1 which needs kdenetwork. While trying to move the new kmess, that's when I experienced the first freeze... A few freezes later, I emerged qt 3.1.2, but still no luck
Here is something I notice in the console
Code: | QPainter::setClipRegion: Will be reset by begin()
QPainter::setClipping: Will be reset by begin()
QPainter::setClipRegion: Will be reset by begin()
QPainter::setClipping: Will be reset by begin()

Any suggestion for a solution? |
