purty please? it'll probably only take a few lines to update the ebuild.
we need this upgrade because of new behaviour with tar breaking the old backuppc (tar exited with 256 status, et al.)
i'll be your bff... _________________ bunder @ freenode | bunhax - tame your SMP!

Well, then, did you try it yourself? Generally, updating is not that difficult.

bunder, I finally managed to get in contact with seemant, the previous maintainer, but I was too late. You had already contacted him via email, so it seems it is all working out. You might even learn how to write ebuild along the way _________________ www.gentoo.org.au || #gentoo-au |

actually, the "tar exited with 256 status" error was what i was more concerned about. with talking to seemant, i found that 3.0.0 is still in debian unstable... however there is a patch for that error for 2.1.2, so i'm going to see if we can get that implemented on gentoo.
as for editing ebuilds, i have my own tree to take care of. _________________ bunder @ freenode | bunhax - tame your SMP!
