an application like pinnacle studio

I was wondering if exists some application like the pinnacle studio to make videos with effects. Obvious, under linux. Even if that program is not free. If you could help me in this matter, i will appreciate it.

In fact, CINELERRA in really interesting... I was wonder what kind of program whom make movies use under linux? i know that the movie Titanic was made with linux, some years ago.
