I have installed XP. Now I want to install Gentoo as well. In fdisk I de XP partition is set to active. Do I need to set the /boot partition of Gentoo to active as well. Or can only one partition be set to active? And which one do I set to active? |

Windows requires that its boot partition be set to active. Linux doesn't care one way or the other. It sounds like your setup is correct. |
