I'd rather just see some more responsibility when people put together and ebuild. Its sort of ridiculous that so many, like banshee, are just broken on a vanilla gentoo system. |

What's wrong with the ebuild ? Can you explain ? I did the ebuild and i maintain banshee if you did something broken it's not our fault. Instead of saying bad things about our work you could point what's wrong in your opinion and we can discuss or fix it. _________________ ex: Gentoo Linux Developer: amd64 media-optical sound gnome

hi guys,
i have some issues.
i guess i m not comfortable enough with banshee...
basically, a lot of odecs are missing: my wav, wma, m3u can t be read... i don t get why.... mplayer and totem is fine with all of them
but i enjoy a lot banshee, (though suddenly it just crashes without any message sometimes... just randomly): can t give you more details
are there some flags for m3u, m4a, wma, wav files?
Thanks!
I also can t find the way to sinchronize my ipod with given files. should i create first a playlist?
It would be cool to right click on a file, and send it to Ipod for instance.
is it possible?
cheers!
and great job! _________________ Cuando un tonto coge un camino, el camino se acaba, pero el tonto sigue |
