need software suggestions..

My boss has asked me to find software that would support the following functions:

1) Human Resources Management Software – something for HR firms to use to track HR tasks and info
2) Recruiting Software – post resumes for job seekers and post jobs for employers.

Is there anything that is out there, that is open source, and that is not that difficult to maintain that already performs these functions?

I'm not sure if this is what you're looking for but a quick search of freshmeat gave me OrangeHRM

It's PHP based so the installation probably won't be difficult. Configuration may be an entirely different matter.
