Is there any way to run init scripts as user ?
I've got a bluetooth headset and it good be nice if I could make a desktop link to the init script to start in when I wish to use it.
I've searched in this forum, but didn't find any solution.

Thanks in advance. ;)

you could use sudo.

emerge sudo and then use visudo to edit your sudoers file. the syntax is a little weird, but you can read the man pages and do searching. trust me..there's a lot of info out there on sudoers syntax.
