If you want squashfs, you must downgrade RSDL to 0.14 because it is the last patch where it worked. _________________ Arch & Fluxbox & 2.6.24-rc-zen!!!!

Ok. I already saw your post somewhere else about that problem but do you know when it will be working together with newer versions of RSDL? _________________

I hope that in next few release, when it became more stable. Now RSDL is highly experimental and versions abowe .14 are pretty unstable for me. _________________ Arch & Fluxbox & 2.6.24-rc-zen!!!!

almost the same for me:
until .15 it works pretty fine & feels really "smooth", viper2 just hard locks
I've never seen such a responsive desktop under heavy load (xgl, beryl, compiling, several apps open, downloading, surfing, ...) _________________ Unofficial minimal livecd x86/amd64 w/reiser4+truecrypt (by Neo2)

I have the same feeling: I was impressed when I emerge some new packages and did some common stuff parallel without feeling that Im also compilling and the cpu is fully utilised. So for now I have stick with viper1 and RSDL 0.14 (now testing nicus2 if I will have the same issues with ethernet problems but I think that I will revert to viper) _________________ Arch & Fluxbox & 2.6.24-rc-zen!!!!

Not so good here - after a couple of hours testing - a few hard lockups - pressed magick key - no good
It has a potential but it's way to much unstable for me.
I'm back to 2.6.17-emission8 _________________ linux-2.6.17 +ck +R4 +lockless +genetic-as +... więcej nie pamiętam

Tried -nicus yet? I didn't expect this version of -viper to be that stable. _________________ Viper-Sources Maintainer || nesl247 Projects || vipernicus.org blog |

Just revert RSDL patch to 0.14 and it works ok then. _________________ Arch & Fluxbox & 2.6.24-rc-zen!!!!
