I'm having a similar problem. Different error message, but the error message is still saying something about an error in pngconf.h file. I was currently using ~x86 version of libpng, so I've downgraded libpng to standard x86 version and re-tried subtitleripper. That fixed the problem completely and I was able to emerge subtitleripper with no problems. Appears to be a problem with ~x86 libpng.
I'd suggest checking your system to see if you happen to have ~ version of libpng as well. If so, add "media-libs/libpng -~x86" to your /etc/portage/package.keywords file and re-emerge libpng. Then try subtitleripper again. If it works for you as well, then we may have stumbled upon some kind of bug for libpng. |
