Drivers for ATI mobility X1400

  • Quote

Post by k1assen » Thu Feb 01, 2007 9:47 pm

I am running an inspiron 6400 with a core 2 duo. My graphics card is the Radeon Mobiility X1400 and I can get the drivers to install. This is the error I get. I have also tried the installer that ati provides, which did not work either. Any help would be appreciated

These are the packages that would be merged, in order:

Calculating dependencies... done!
[ebuild N ] x11-drivers/ati-drivers-8.27.10-r1 USE="acpi opengl -doc" 0 kB

Total size of downloads: 0 kB

Would you like to merge these packages? [Yes/No] yes

Maybe you have kernel compiled with some options that prevent buliding of DRI module.

Check http://odin.prohosting.com/wedge01/gent ... n-faq.html for more info.
