Up until my previous update, gnome on my powerbook was working perfectly.
I was able to suspend exactly how I wanted to, and power management was sane...
Today I decided to upgrade the machine, and noticed that dbus was updated.
Because I had had problems on my other machines when this happened, I did a revdep-rebuild, and since then things have been crazy.
I've lost the suspend option on my shutdown dialog, and the notification area applet has gone mad.
It displays the icon for AC power when on battery, yet the "tooltip" says its on battery.
Its also taken to randomly suspending itself, and the only way i can wake it up is by using the power button!
Anyone know whats gone wrong?
(I am also running pbbuttonsd which was fine prior to todays updates).

o.k. its dbus. this isnt a ppc specific problem i think, 1.0.2 kills gnome-power-manager for me.
masking it and another revdep-rebuild has fixed it. |
