I guess this is the correct place to post this, if not, move it
Basically I can't get any OpenGL screensavers working (gives me some error text which i haven't noted, won't let me preview. Normal screensavers are fine however), and i'd be willing to bet that Quake 3 won't work when I try it later on. I remember before this install i had problems with GL Libraries etc. I have since formatted and removed windows
I've installed the latest nvidia drivers (4363) from nvidia.com, not from portage. The portage ones gave me crap about enabling MTRR - even when it was enabled.
So what do i need to do? Afaik the nvidia drivers are all i should need?
Some of my files..
Xfree Log file (/var/log/XFree86.0.log
My /etc/X11/XF86Config
If you need any more info, please ask. |

Uncomment this line:
..from your XF86Config file and restart X server. That should help
And for the mtrr check this file if is exist:
..and if it is exist you have mtrr enabled. |
