Openmotif2.1.30-r1 Build Failure with GCC3

Anyone else have this failure?
Output is something like:
rm -f ./config/makedepend/Makefile.proto
./imake/imake I ./config/cf -s ./config/makedepend/Makefile.proto -f ./config/makedepend/Imakefile DPOTDIR=../..-DURCIR=/config/makedepend
make[1] : ***[config/makedepend/Makefile.proto] Aborted
