OK,
I used the radeon driver in the latest xfree.
I have also been scouring the video card posts. There is alot of talk about "DRM" and "DRI" should i be using these or is the driver included in xfree 4.3 fine? And what is glxgears?
Thanks

glxgears is a program that you run in X which tests your graphics capability. I'm running the ati-drivers that i got by emerge'ing ati-drivers and running the setup program. With my 9000 mobility, I'm getting about 1600fps. |
