Sorry for the cross-post, but thought this is relevent to this thread.
Can anyone point me to a specification sheet for the above graphics controller. I am particularly intererested in the range of pixel clock frequencies it supports and if it can support interlace mode.
( I would like to get the controller to produce PAL and NTSC signals out of the VGA connector by changing Modelines in XF86config-4)

There are some general stats here, but I don't think they are of much use. ATI is totally uncooperative when it comes to these things.
Since I don't see TV out working on Rage 128 PPC anytime soon (even though it has been hacked for the PC already), trying out VGA to TV is the only alternative. Have you had any success with it yet? Did you build your own adapter to do this? |
