hi
I downloaded and burnt a liveCD and got gentoo
up on my Ultra 1
But cofiguring the kernal is a bare.....
many, many, many tries.. and then I got it to comple clean....
ok I moved my image into /boot
and rebooted...
after reseting the ultra 1 (167Mz) 448Mbs Memory
heres what happens:
Silo 1.4.1.3
screen turns black and Penguin appears..
finds drives, etc..

If the problem does not stem from the lack of system call 211 (I know neither what that does nor how it is related to the problem if at all), then there are other threads which you might find useful. |
