Hello,
I just tried to install ut2004 as a dedicated server, current version being 3369.
It downloaded the files, but after it compiles the package and skips the test phase, the following error occurs:

The box is a pIII @ 866MHz (don't know what it wants with amd64 or macosx).
Anyone got any ideas?.  Thanx.

| You probably have amd64 in /etc/make.conf - remove it. |

Try changing the line in the ebuild to:
| Code: | | rm ${Ddir}/System/ucc-bin-{linux-amd64,macosx} |
That redundant extra pair of curly brackets might be rejected by the unstable bash. |

OK, changing the line:
