Hey,
I'm trying to install Tuxguitar under my iBook G4 with a Gentoo. No problem with the compilation, but when I run the software, it closes and complains about "No fonts found ...". So, I have checked if my fontconfig is well installed. I have regenerated the cache. And no change: "No fonts found" ^^'
So, why I think it is a problem with the swt library. Simply because, I'm trying to install eclipse with java 1.5 but there is a problem with the display of font (see swt and eclipse-sdk: doesn't display text on ppc with ibm-jdk-bin-1.5). So, I have followed some hyperlinks and find a bug report from eclipse. In this report, they propose a very simple code to understand the problem (see PR143061.tar.gz attachment). I compile, and run ... and I obtain the message : "No fonts found". And Tuxguitar uses also the swt library. That's why I think it's a problem with fontconfig, swt and maybe my locales configuration.
What can I do to investigate deeper this question? Could someone help me?
Thks in advance . |
