oh, ya, sorry, forgat that 1.5.08 is the most recent stable java.

Um, the log file I was refering to is the error report file "hs_err_pid14160.log" or whatever that is mentioned in the terminal output that you posted.

I haven't see the problem
Code:

~% opera --version
Opera 9.10 . Build 518 for Linux. Qt library 3.3.5.
~% java -version
java version "1.5.0_08"
Java(TM) 2 Runtime Environment, Standard Edition (build 1.5.0_08-b03)
Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM (build 1.5.0_08-b03, mixed mode)
~% cat ~/.opera/javapath.txt
/opt/sun-jdk-1.5.0.08/jre/lib/i386
~%

Got a url where it fails?

For me it fails for example on http://www.cse.unsw.edu.au/~lambert/java/3d/hull.html

Fails both with 1.5.0.10 and 1.4.2.13. There were no problems with 9.02. It doesn't matter if I have USE="qt-static" or not.

Snipplets from the crash log:

Code:

#
#  SIGSEGV (0xb) at pc=0xb702053a, pid=10620, tid=3061405360

Sometimes the problematic frame is one of the opera frames. In konqueror everything is all right, besides everything worked in opera-9.02, so I don't think it's QT issue. I'll try to rebuild it anyway.

---- EDIT ---
Works fine after rebuilding Qt. Strange.
