I have given up on my last install and re-started again. I am at the point where I am configuring the kernel. I read a few different things on picking sparc sources or vanilla. Which is better in my situation?

I used sparc-sources at first then I asked the same question you asked in a topic a few days ago, and based on Weeve's reply I built gentoo-sources. Now I have kernel 2.6.17-gentoo-r8 up and running successfully.
You can read my previous topic here.
EDIT: and I answered you right after you saw my other post |
